So I'm waiting on hubby to come home, he is coming to see the kids and he says he is leaving, I begged him this morning to stay and he said he couldn't. My head hurts, I feel like my life is spiraling and I dont have control of my life anymore. We've been married for almost 11 years and I just can't let it go. We've been at this for almost a year now, him confused, happy one day, unhappy the next, involved in an emotional affair that he can't or don't want to break free, feelings for this other woman he can't shake, wanting to work things out but can't get her of his mind. I feel defeated, rejected, loveless. He is leaving/deploying with the military in 3 weeks, gone for a year. Can't get rid of this feeling of doom. Need to face the truth but it just hurts. Sounds like I'm rambling but I just needed to write.

His emotional affair is something you should not put up with. Try if you can to see it as his problem and weakness.
not a reflection on you
In my H's case. I think it was/is simple lust. And that's too bad. By the time he realizes what a huge mistake he has made, I will be moved on.
I Pray anyway. That I Can move on. It has been 10 months (4 of which we are apart from each other) and I still have panic attacks.
I turned 50 yesterday. Alone and uncertain. My marriage was 32 years. The amount of years, some say matter. I don't see how. You are losing something the same as we all did. IT is Hard.
