I'm a mess right now. I went away for christmas (my mom paid for me to not be alone for xmas). I texted the ex and wished him a merry christmas. He called. He said I could call him at work and wants to go for coffee. Yet he is seeing a skinny, blond 21 year old model (were almost 30) and wants to keep it on the down low. I said I'd think about it. I dont know if its nice that he still thinks of me, or not. He left me so I dont know if hes having second thoughts? I'm confused on that part.
However I do have hope for the future. He is a recovering addict. It was NOT easy getting him clean. I am glad that I could help him, but it still hurts that he is with someone else. Its nice that I never have to worry about money, that I am going to Hong Kong for 2 weeks in July, That I can put all my decor stuff out that he didnt like, that I am not told that he would cheat on me if it wasnt for porn, that I am not yelled at in the middle of the store for asking if his expensive work clothing is the right size because he didnt try it on and its not returnable. I know in my heart that he isnt for me. I wish he would take me back, but he really isnt the one for me.
But I miss being held, feeling loved, feeling wanted. And I dont know if anyone will ever want me, or if I'll ever be able to trust again.
I spent most of my 8 hours of flying home crying. And as I flew over all the towns and cities, I realized there are more people that feel like me, sad and alone, and more people that have been able to find some one thats right for them. I just hope that 2012 will be kinder to me and everyone that feels lost and confused.
Sorry for the tangents and scattered thoughts. I am just having a tough time.

Keeping coffee on the "down low" means he's lying to her. Sounds like he lied to you too. I'm going to guess than he's just a liar.
Cry your tears, but love your heart enough to guard it against people like that. Patience and time are the hardest but most effective factors in healing. XOXO
