I am still an idealist and think that relationships can work, be fun and fulfilling if both partners want it to be!
Mothering you in public: Wiping that bit of kebab off your face, nagging you about everything and anything, and basically irritating
Being soppy in public: Calling you pet names in front of your friends and family, too much public affection, and telling everyone all those really 'cute' things you do that you'd hoped wouldn't go any further than just her knowing.
People will cry because "I'm a man/woman and I'm NOT like that....this is a man/woman bashing bullshit thing......why do you say ALL men/women are like that when we aren't......"
