the dude has been tied down for 17 years. now, like many newly free men, he is screwing anyone and everyone who will listen to his "game."

when you begin to date a man and he says that he is not ready for a relationship, what he is saying is that he does not consider you as a serious contender - ever. if he did, he would not risk saying that. since this guy did, he wanted to see if you were the type who would be willing to endure months, if not years, of a sub-standard relationship. he baited you with his "game." you bought into it.

please wise up to the games of players like him. you deserve the real thing, a genuine man who is honest and truly wants one good woman.

A lot of women tend to get attached very easily to a man because we view each man as the possible one for us. I am also guilty of this, and I have been yelled at a lot for it on here because I obsess over everything. But, I am glad I have those people who yell at me because I need to hear it. They help me keep my head on straight.
I do have to ask one question...from what you said, you said this guy was just 6 months separated from his marriage but that you and he had been seeing each for 6 months....were you the other woman? Dont take offense to that. It's just a question.
Also, I would doubt that he's "in love" with the 'tramp" from the bar, especially of he's only 6 months separated from a 17 yr marriage.

No I wasnt the other woman. His wife and my BF was having an affair and him and I founf out about it at the same time so we kind of helped each other thru. I guess I got a little attached. I have stayed up all night talking/texting hitm and we just kind of bonded from the git go. We have everything in common and now that I dont get to talk to him I feel empty on the inside and like I lost my best friend.

My ex is marrying his rebound. He picked someone so outside of anyone that would be even close to being a good match for him it isnt funny. If it does last very long I dont see how it can be a very happy union. He did the same thing, met and got engaged to her after only knowing her 7 weeks. You can not develop a healthy foundation or even know a person well enough to get married after that short of a courtship. The thing is...it doesnt matter how long. you dodged a bullet. He is showing you his true colors, hes not available....now heal yourself before getting into something else, or you will just be rebounding as well.
