You know what GeocacherNY, I know what you mean.. kind of. I get plenty of men interested in me but with my track record of failures, I am left with feeling.. How could someone not be in love with me? I am so beautiful (inside I mean, not conceited), so giving, so everything I want in a man.. but there is an answer to that question.. why that doesn't work, and I am on a mission to find it. As a man, I can say that direct bluntness is often appreciated. My STBX would often mask abuse by calling it 'honesty' or 'bluntness'

Honesty becomes abuse when it puts others down purposefully, usually as a mean to an end to control someone else.

But, back to the point. I, and almost every other man I know personally, would appreciate you just coming out and saying what is on your mind. It could be a good test of his character, do you want a man that wants you to mask your feelings?

Thanks for confirming some of what I've been thinking and enlighting me on other ways guys know a woman is showing interest in them. I am all ways myself and do not play games. Sometimes I think being who I am scares guys off. Being overly blunt could make things worse. Just like you gentlemen and I'm sure woman as well I'm scared of being rejected if I put myself out there to a guy who isn't reading me. By the way, why do guys come on like gang busters and then quickly turn off. What's up with that?
