As many of you know I have been in the dating world for some time and I have been a bit fustrated with it. I was wondering what I was doing and if I would ever find someone.
For the past two months I have been dating someone. This weekend it took a serious turn and I am not in a relationship with her.
I have done a lot of dating. I have seen some things in her that I never thought that I would see again. She is very sweet natured, gives me as much attention as I give her, and I think that the future is a brighter place right now. Yes, I am extremely happy. Oh, she even enjoyed being out on the boat the other day.
Wish me luck with this one. I am hoping that I will never be back in the dating world. Time will tell but it is worth getting my hopes up at this point. Either way, I will take the mistakes that I have made and the things I learned from the last time to make this new chance much better.

Here is the thing....Other people that know me know the story a bit better. Some of the information I don't want to put on the net for obvious reasons. Here are some answers though.
I have been seeing her for 2 months. Things have been developing really well. This weekend she had "the talk" with me and said that she wanted to be in a defined relationship with me. We are bf/gf.
The nice thing that I have seen in her is that she is very similar in personality to me. She cares about other people and often puts them ahead of myself, just as I do. She is very good around kids and wants to have family and kids someday (as I do). She treats me very well and is very caring towards me. I see some traits in her that I never thought I would find in anyone.

...is really a key thing because it means that you pretty much want similar things and hopefully your approach to getting them will be similar. However, still give eachother room to be yourselves and stay in the moment.
