What is wrong with this country!?!? Seriously, we may not agree with everything that congress does, but why are the politicians being threatened and things being done to them. This is STUPID people. We put them in office and it is our job to get them out of office if they don't do what we want them to...the key is that we get them out by VOTING them out.
I know that this is a minority of this population but this minority seems like a serious home-grown terrorist threat. This country is getting more and more violent and if we don't agree with everything that goes on we think that it is our right to commit violent acts and threaten people?
This is a sad reflection on present day society.
It doesn't matter what political party we are...democrat, republican, or other. We need to come together as a country and stop this stupidity.

You don't see the parallels between the smaller and the larger picture?

Elaborate on the damage that will be done. Because if you don't think you weren't paying for the healthcare of others as it was, you are mistaken. Something had to be done.
Hell, I'm certain that everything that Obama wanted is not even in this bill.
