The other day I finally went through ALL of the pictures on my computer(and there were a lot) and put any pics that had my ex in them into a different folder and made it invisible. That way when I was looking for a different picture I didn't have to see him. My question is that a friend told me that I shouldn't have left it on there at all and that I should just flat out delete them, he thinks that I am keeping them there as a way to "punish" myself because I still feel guilty about what happened to my niece.
So what does everyone else think? What have you done with pictures? I wasn't sure I was ready to just get rid of them but is it just one of those things where it will hurt to be rid of them in the beginning and be better in the end or should I wait until I feel it is time?

The photos don't bother me and I have put them away for safe keeping. He was a part of my life for 33 years. I can't wipe him off the face of the earth. He is certainly not the person he pretended to be but I don't hate him. I feel pity for his poor mixed up life and wish him some peace and happiness. Even when he is giving me trouble again.
