Ever get the feeling that you are over medicated? I took my blood pressure now that things are calming down in my life and I haven't been fighting anxiety. it was 115 over 66. Er....that is kind of low. I am going to keep checking it and see if it continues. I would love to get off of some of the damn medications that I take but I am not sure what that will do. I will talk to the doctor about this soon but being that I am having a temporary laspe in health care due to the quick responce of COBRA (sarcastic remark there) I really don't want to go to the doctor for a while until my coverage kicks back in.
Things are working themselves out and I have a TON of applications out there. I look for things to start heating up soon and I hope to find SOMETHING by the end of January. Maybe I will get really lucky and have several options to choose from and maybe some of them will be out of law enforcement. I know that I can make about $60,000 a year if I go to one particular department but I would rather make less money and work in the private sector! I would also rather work for a different department that is either slower paced or a few particular departments that tend to spend most of their time working law enforcement on the water. Those things seem more my pace. I need a break from the typical type of police work.
Enough rambling.

This random nurse taking my BP asked me if I worked on the flightline, I told her yes and asked how she knew.
She said just about everyone who worked on the flightline had at least that high a BP if not higher.
I dunno if I'm down near 115, but I'm glad I can't hear my blood pounding through my ears anymore.
