This is our last weekend in the house together. He has been moving his stuff out all week. It hurts so bad. His half of the closet is bare. The room in the basement that use to have his army gear in it is almost empty. There are now bare places all over the house. I am broken. We will have our last dinner tonight. Wake up for the the last time tomorrow under the same roof. Wake up in the middle of the night with the baby together for the last time. From this point on I will be on my own and that hurts and is scary. I have never known love or hurt like this before. I keep hoping it is all a bad dream and I will wake up and everything will be ok, but I know it is not. Why can't he see that he is making a mistake?

Good luck. You are going to go through a lot of "firsts" and they are all hard. But, you will get through it. Outdoes get easier - but it takes time.

Surround yourself with those who support you. Lean on them, let them help. It will be hard, and you can do it

I know that it's not something that you want to do but at this point it seems as though it's something that you have to do and you really can't worry about him knowing that he's making a mistake because that won't change the situation at this point you just got to worry about you from here on out because it seems as if he's worried about him I know it's a hard process I'm going through it now myself but I'm starting over and I know that things will work out and I'm sure that they will work out for you too. but the first thing you have to do is just start to worry about you and just accept that he's leaving. Hugs
