However...I did grow up in Santa Monica/Culver City/Los Angeles...lived a mile from Venice Beach up until I was 16...then I had to move here...and its not even an interesting city in Missouri either...lol...we could have gone to Kansas City or St. Louis...but nooooo...we had to come here...I had to finish high school in a town that had a smaller population than my high school in Cali...lol...how sad is that??

I would come back...but, I'm poor...and I don't miss the earthquakes!! LOL I've been through riots, BIG earthquakes and the OJ trial...lol...don't miss that stuff...but I would like to come for a visit again some time...haven't been back since 2005....I've got family all over the LA area and San Diego...unfortunately, I have a feeling the next time I get to go to Cali will be when my grandpa passes away...he's here in Missouri with us, but wants to be buried in Cali next to my grandma...so, idk...he's getting up there in age...didn't think he was going to make it over the past year and a half...but he's still got some life left in him yet!! LOL I sure do love my grandpa (sorry...just had to throw that in there...got to thinking about the sweet old guy...lol)

aww, that's sweet. I've been thinking that my great grandma is not going to last the year since 2005! but somehow she's still alive. Unfortunately at this point she can't walk, see or do anything for herself and is in constant pain. She's so ready to go.
