Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Also on my post-divorce travel list: California. I spent a week in San Diego 5 years ago on business and loved it. Would love to spend 2 weeks in Cali, going from North to South, spending time in the various cities (i.e.-- SF, LA, SD, etc.).
My cousin moved to Maine after she got married and won't shut the hell up about it. She loves it and is actively recruiting folks to come up and visit. Everyone that has gone likes it, and I look forward to visiting her up there at some point.
I also like the mountians. In particular I like the Grand Teteon and Targee areas. When I vacate... I love going there and just losing myself.
There's a few key "passwords" you need to know first to get it though. (They don't give these out free to everyone.)
First drive a bit too fast on the highway.
(This is to alert the local vacation planners that you're interested. They hide among the common citizens in white cars with bright lights and loud sirens on top.)
Then, as they alert all motorists that you might have won, and to be envious of you, they will drive up behind you.
DON'T pull over right away though. You want everyone for at least a few miles to know of your luck.
When you do pull over, tell the nice gentleman to F... It. This is could for how 'Fantastic' your vacation will be.
If you are truely lucky, he will give you a pair of nice shiny bracelets as your first souvenier.
Then you'll be off to a nice All Inclusive, Vacation on the State.
Please leave your cell phone behind (they'll give you one call free), then just relax and injoy the escape from real life.
Vegas. VEGAS VEGAS!!!!
I love vegas.
I went to New Mexico in July, it was very different. Sante Fe was so lovely, I would go back in a heartbeat. Dallas is very cool. We also just got back from the Outer Banks NC, and that's beautiful there too. Lots of kayaking, fishing, swimming, etc. Plus cool stuff to see like the Wright Brothers museum.
Get on lastminutevacation.com or something like that. They run last minute short trips. Just have to watch your prices.
