Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
looks like a nice bunch of people to hang out with
:)
my son and I are going gorge hiking next weekend (weather permitting!)
The lady seated across from me is very nice too. She's also in the outdoor adventure meetup group I belong to.
Heheh, we did have an incident with our waitress. She must have been having a bad day. First she comes to our table just as we were seated. Didn't ask if we'd like to order drinks first. Just went right into her menu and specials spiel. She seemed put off we needed more time.
So she proceeds to get our drinks and then vanishes for way longer than is usual. When she returns, we order, however the woman sitting next to me (it's her first meetup) is very confused as to what she wants. So the waitress works with her for a couple of minutes, helping her with the decision. She settles on Chicken Fricassee.
Now when our food arrives she decides she doesn't want or like Chicken Fricassee at all. She looks at my dish, Angels in Heaven, an angel hair pasta dish with prosciutto ham, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts, baby spinach and various herbs and spices, and decides that's what she really wants. Doh!!!
So she asks if she can have her dish changed. The waitress is very rude, explaining in quite a loud voice how that's just not possible. She's flustered and annoyed, and makes no bones about it.
She finally gives in, but when she brings it out it's almost half the portion size of mine, with only one or two sun dried tomatoes. Heheh, the drama continues!!! We ended up asking for the manager, and they eventually made the situation right.
Now since the inn is part of the state park, we got the park admission back for eating there. So Janet snaps a picture of the waitress returning with the cash, and captures both her and her gastronomical advesary in the frame. Hehehe:

We do have fun!
When I posted the link to the picture of the waitress returning our admission fee, it changed the link in my OP for the group picture. Oops!!
Oh, I understand now. All new uploaded photos end with a last node of /0. So the group photo was /0 when I uploaded and copied the link. The link in the OP is still /0, but now the waitress photo is /0.
Okay, cancel the SR! :-)
Still, it's a very common practice to copy & paste URLs, so doing it this way is a fairly major design flaw. They should keep the original last node and have an alternate index for presenting in newest to oldest order in the album.
Heheh, don't mind me. It's just the systems analyst in me.
I scouted the swamp last year for hunting potential. Went in next to the Bridgeport Rod & Gun club. Walked a good portion of it over the course of the day.
It's pretty cool!
I'd like to do that too, but I ain't taking my shiny and unscrathed Silverado in a place like that just yet! Heheh, maybe after I get a few parking lot dings and scratches, but that might be a while as I'm one of the crazies that parks where no one else does.
Or is CJ a type of Wragler, or vice versa?
It was a really cool vehicle, and could be used in the smaller service stations found in NYC where a more traditional and much bigger backhoe would never fit.
Like this only green:
