Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!!!!
I can't tell everyone enough use it. I have found out the hard way. Just went thru MOHS surgery for Basal Cell skin cancer, mind you I'm almost 50 sunscreen wasn't really around when I was young, but it is now. Please use it!! On you and your kids.. This surgery was on my face, I ended up with 38 stitches, I can only hope they put me back together nice and pretty..
But, this is a serious thing and shouldn't be taken lightly.. please everyone, I love to be tan just as much as anyone else, but please be extra careful nowdays, I was told that this affects over 6 million people a year to some degree or another...

Great warning,,, I know it is hard to think of sunscreen during the cold,, but you can get the same kind of uv rays in the winter!

Thank You for the reminder! So sorry about your fiding out the hard way. As if it wasn't enuf to deal with a divorce, you had to do this too! How are you feeling? Are you kinda OK? I am glad you posted, but alittle bit worried about you too :)

Anne , Thanks I'm OK, but it's a tough life lesson, I don't want to see others go thru it. They did do reconstructive surgery at the same time, but right now I look like a parrot all upper lip...

I live in Colorado..at a "higher" elevation...I slather sun screen on. Family member out here had to have his lower eye lid replaced to to a melanoma..it wasn't pretty.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
