OT - Puppies born!!

The first puppy is out, 14.3 ounces :)

Love, love those puppies! How darling! I wish I could handle a bigger bread but I think I'll stick with the Yorkie that I'll be getting.

Number 3 is here

The first boy :) - Blue

1 pound .3 oz.! Big guy...

#4 (Light Blue, male 14oz) and #5 (Yellow, female 14.1oz) made an entrance

Light Blue had a little trouble breathing, but is doing fine. Yellow made a quick following of her brother. I think Light Blue is going to be the runt :)

And very quickly after, #6 Orange arrived (female, 15oz.)

#7 (Green, male, 15.5oz.) arrived at 345am, doing quite well after a slightly oozing umbilical.

Unfortunately, she next delivered a puppy that had been gone for quite some time, maybe a week or two. It was female, weighed 8.8oz.

We did a dopler ultrasound and we believe there is one more left!

I'm deleriously tired, and will take more pics later :)

The last one was born at 6am, (Black) male 15.75oz.

A grand total of 8 puppies, 4 male and 4 female.

Mamma's doing well, filthy, stanky and tired, but well. (pretty much the same as us!)

All are nursing well and very active.. I'll post pics of them all together as soon as I recover from the all-nighter.. a few more hours of cleaning up and watching before I can get any sleep :)
