what channel you watching i havent seen anything for quite awhile

I'm sure they aren't watching the tv or the news or reading any mags or papers. They are been celebrities long enough to know how people are.

But I agree, such a sad situation. I truly hope they were doing all they could to help him. It is so rare to die from seizure disorders these days. Technology has come so far.

It's a sensational story that plays on parent's fears, so it appeals to both the voyeurs and parents at the same time. Which pretty much grabs a large chunk of the population.

Not to mention there's the slight possibility that Scientology may or may not have had something to do with Jett's demise.

As sad as it is to say, it bleeds so it leads.

The Poor kid hit his head on the bathtub when the ceizure struck. They tried to do everything for him. I really feel for the family. What a horrible thing to have to live through.

actually Heave...latest reports from the coroner is...he did NOT hit his head.

It at times brings me to tears. It is the most horrific tragedy a parent can experience. I have a son 15 who I look at and cannot imagine life without him. My heart goes out to that family. Plus, I love John Travolta and he seems so down to earth and a good person for a celebrity status. You can see the love he had for his boy and of course his daughter too. He will be forever changed. I do unnderstand that the
scientology angle maybe quite the contraversy. Just sad any way you look at it.

That's what happens when you are famous. *shrug*

John Travolta looks to be an incredible person. Things I have heard about him support that. He was also a very loving father from the things that have been said about it. SO Tragic.

So is talking about it here stopping the frenzy or keeping it going, just asking.

What bothers me about it and in turn makes me ever so curious is that Kawasaki Disease is not linked with seizure disorders. The illness can affect the heart or coronary artery long term....seizures are a brain issue. There is no correlation between the two.

Personally, I feel they needed a reason for their sons ailment. He very well may have come down with Kawasaki's as it is on the rise in the US, but it would have merely been a convenient excuse for his seizure disorder/development delay. It is extremely unlikely that Kawasaki's disease left him permanently disabled from a mental standpoint.

He sure had his Daddy's eyes. Jett was a handsome boy.

No matter what, it is sad to lose a child.

regardless of the scandal, gossip and inuendo in the press, John and Kelly travolta lost a son, their first born. Their hearts will be breaking. I pray for them

I doubt they watch much TV. They are used to guarding themselves.

I love how Madonna said her kid is not allowed to watch any TV - b/c TV is the devil or something like that! Funny! She can play the media like a piano, collect millions, but it's the devil.

I have a friend who lost a child recently and I don't know if she will recover. I don't know if I would recover. If their Scientology was at fault, at least they were trying to do the best they knew how with life. I can't throw a stone. But I must admit if there is anything to know about the story, that's the only part that piques my voyeur tendencies.

The tragedy is that a child died.

The pathetic thing is because it is someone famous it gets played over and over. What about the other hundreds if not thousands of children that died the same day all over the world due to starvation and war or other reasons.

No parent should have to bury their child.
