Glad to see there are others up for an early morning cold one (or hot one if you're patti). As for my preference...if it says "beer" on the can or bottle, I'm just fine with that...

For me, I drink 2 beers every day. They can be at any time, morning, noon or night. I drink beer for the calories! I do not get drunk as I drink one now and one many hours later. I have low body weight with pancreatitis. I know that they say that if one ever drinks with pancratitis, it is a death sentence. I have found this to be untrue as I have been on this regimine for well over a year now and my prealbumin numbers are now up because of it (prealbumin levels measure the degree of "starvation" in a body!). My numbers, pre-beer were around 5 and 7 (normal is 18.6). Lately, those numbers are reaching 15.8 but not higher. At least it helps. Now, if any of you are underweight and not diabetic, this could be the "excuse" for you to drink beer!
