OMG! I would KILL to have my '69 Nova back again.

I was going to post about my dream last night, but deleted it instead because of what was going on around here.

I'm feeling guarded about mine, and an experience I had last night that was connected to it.

Either the dream was prophetic, or subconsciously I created it in real life?

It had a worked LT-1 350. Think it dyno-tuned somewhere around 520 HP. Mid-10s ET in the 1/4 mile. :-)

It wasn't street legal. 10.5 inch slicks and open headers would have been frowned on. Heheh, though I did take it for drives around the neighborhood on occassion. My next door neighbor was a Nassau County cop and he was pretty cool about it. Just told me if I got caught I was on my own and he knew nothing!

You could hear the headers roaring for blocks and blocks when I fired it up. Mechanical lifters and high lift, long duration cam too. Sounded real nasty!!

Yeah, the mind is an interesting place and can seemingly manifest some really bizarre stuff!

I've had too many weird experiences to dismiss the bizarre. And no, I'm not crazy. I'm extremely level-headed and demanding of verifiable proof. I just know some things I have personally experienced that just have no explanation outside of the paranormal.

By the way, this is pretty close to my Nova, except mine was a lot nastier! made this one sound tame!! ;-)

They certainly were faitful! I also had a '69 El Camino and a '73 El Camino. They were cool cars. One with a 350, headers, 4 speed, 4:11 posi rear and the other the same only with a 396.

WTF, I do like the late 60s Novas, however a good alternative would be a '657 GOAT! :-)

With all due respect I hate cars, my X was obsessed with them and that's all he ever talked about . My children resent that too.

FYI, the GTO was John DeLorean's creation. The suits at Pontiac HATED it, and did everything in their power to crush it. Didn't fit with their image of Pontiac. Heheh, what idiots...

Oh, c'mon, JoyRide, what is the purpose in raising the vague accusatory stuff over and over and over again? Did something happen recently, maybe, that I am not aware of? If so, sorry, but otherwise, you may want to consider letting go of some of that old stuff you hang onto, it just seems like you hang onto it for so long and then revive it constantly, not really so healthy. Seriously, it really isn't worth hanging onto - lighten up! Or maybe start your own thread about whatever it is and get some specific feedback there to help you resolve the issues. You know people here will help you if you ask. I mean seriously, what IS "going on around here"? Maybe I work too much, lol, and don't sign on enough and miss everything!
