I agree with Z's first reply to this thread.

Why does a single woman get so much shit for playing the field? What is so wrong with that? She's single; she can do whatever the hell she wants.

My problem was that my wife wanted to play the field. Now, that's a problem.

Men want the women they marry to be pure. It's almost like it's a blow to a man's ego when he finds out the number of sex partners his gf/wife has had before him. Most men just don't want to know so they can keep that pure image in their heads.
