Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Some of us may be feeling down and out for the upcoming holidays...
I have always been a big proponent of "nurturing thyself" in the face of hurt and dissapointment...especially after a break up...
So why not treat yourself to something nice this year for the holiday?
Let's bring it back to our childhood days when we would write to Santa...(even though most of us knew who we were really writing to)
Bottomline is...make it reasonable, something you think you can treat yourself to for the holiday :) AND follow through!
Here is mines:
Dear Santa,
I have had a really rough year. I had a bad break up. The economy is bad, and so is my credit. I have a lousy job. In the face of it all, I have tried my best to stay positive. I always try my best to be the nicest person I can be.
So this year. I would like to put in an extra special request. I am sorry if it sounds a little selfish. I would like a 32 Inch Flat Screen Television. I have been without a television of my own for a while and thought it would be the perfect gift to watch my New York Jets games. Oh BTW can you put in a good word and a prayer to the "big guy upstairs" for my Jets to win the Superbowl this year.
Thank You Santa. You are still the best to me.

This is the first time in 4 years that I feel pleasure, so I'd love a few sensual things, like perfume, champagne, flowers, something leather. I'm easy to please.
Done with my Christmas shopping, got a little something for myself already. But could use some positive vibes in THIS support group, but don't we all!

Could I please have a taser gun? Please deliver it to Pensacola Florida with a tag that reads "Here's the spark you've been missing". Ask Rudolph if he wouldn't mind leaving a present too? Maybe give him some chili before your long flight.

Okay, now that's been taken care of. Santa, listen good... I have my eye on this hottie that I'd really like to find under my tree. If I could figure out a way to get him here myself I would, but I'm going to need your help. Make sure you use Rudolph, I would hate for a storm to slow things down.
I'd also like an Xbox 360... I miss playing Dynasty Warriors, and could use something to keep me off of the computer all night :)
