Friday, you are going to be so okay! When I left my ex, I had only what I could load into a small trailer in a couple of hours. It took me 4 months to get my own apartment ( I haven't been on my own in decades!) and it was pretty darn overwhelming. But I've been putting my own home together now for 3 months and loving every minute of it. There is a sense of accomplishment and dignity in doing this. You'll be fine.

Thanks ladies. I was looking to the future this am and I wouldn't say excited by any means but at least I was looking to the future before seeing the apartments. But then was asked why I wa looking for a two bedroom etc. Just sad but it'll be ok. I keep telling myself this isn't the life I envisioned for my girls or for me but I need to make the best of it. Sad a little tonight. I'm at a friends place tonight...last time I stayed in this bed I was with the stbx and we were so happy with things. We had a great night here but here I am now alone in bed....it's ok. It's all good.

friday--I feel that way about the bed we stayed in at my parents' house. Somehow I adjusted (um, finally) to sleeping in what was our bed alone, but when I stay at their house, I think about every time we were in THAT bed together and now i'm there alone. I'm going to face that bed again next week. ugh.
