OT - Finally home

Well, it's 2:08am on the east coast and I just got home from work. I woke up at 7am yesterday and went to my day job, from 9-5. Then I went to my night job from 5:30-1:00. It takes me an hour to get home. Now that means that in a 24 hour day, I get to spend 6 hours not working. WTF...there is something so wrong with this picture. Did anything fun go on here tonight?

Work was good. No residents falling, or scratching, biting, or kicking me. In fact everyone co-operating. Plus I didn't have to work with the aide that always goofs off and tries to watch tv, and leaves everyone else to run to the bells. I even managed to get 4 people dressed, instead of the usual 2.

But dead tired. Ha ha ha, to the other shifts that think we sleep all night. Truth is, we barely sit down, except for our unpaid break.

But it was holiday pay....YEAH. And I get to take the kids to the fireworks tonight.

OK, goodnight all. I'm going to try to sleep a couple hours, if the kids will let me. ((And they're learning that a tired mom, is a grumpy mom, and to let me Sleep!)
