Mediterranean

Forgive me for my grammatical issues today. It's been a long week, full of snow. I also like Mexican.

Italian ... but then I'm biased.

Definitely Mediterranean. Or Indian.

I'm not sure how to even define "American." My mom makes an awesome roast -- meat, potatoes and gravy. That's what I think of as American

MMMM I love my mom.

Good old " American Southern Cooking", rocks my world! I can whip some up if you are hungry I am cold it will warm me up to cook, What do you want? LOL

Italian and Mexican (which isn't really Mexican, here in the US)

I think just about anything that involves tomato and melted cheese, come to think of it.

I could really go for a rack of BBQ ribs and some slaw...

Oooo...southern BBQ....YUM!

Pre-school: Peanut Butter and Jelly and Grilled Cheese

I like steak.

A really good steak, medium rare.

I have a rack of ribs ready to cook and some New Yorks ready to thaw out and grill. I'm a happy woman.

I guess I qualify as a food-a-holic. I love Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, American, some Moroccan - it's all good. I cook eat, I eat it - life's good!

Patti, please tell me that the peanut butter and jelly and grilled cheese are two different sandwiches....

Chinese food use to be my favorite. - pre abdominal surgery. Now many foods are hard to stomach (haha)
So most of what I eat is pretty blah. If I go out, I usually get appetizers. - smaller portions are less intimidating.

"American" food is made up of everything from everywhere else. There's very few Amercian foods that were truly developed here. "Refined" or changed, yes, but not invented. That's what makes it the best to me. The inginuity and creativity in this country is second to none.

However, my last meal would be osso bucco and gnocchi (braised veal shanks and potato dumplings). Northern Italian. But my favorite cuisines are French and Japanese. (yin and yang?)
