A friend of mine showed me a picture of some chicks that he bought last easter for his kids. They were the biggest damn chicks! The company he got them from raised chicks and chickens but those damn things were massive.

50 are hens..
KG - We raised them about that number at a time, but with fewer hens. We butchered every year, but we always had 10 to 20 hens that we kept. I've eaten a lot of eggs in my time. LOL
I may get a stand at the Farmers Market or start giving them away..
