I am a dark person...not my skin, but rather my brain...it's Black...my brain, that is...not Caucasian...I tend to enjoy bleak times and darkness...It is very therapeutic in a dark way. Sometimes happiness is overrated...

If someone came to me and wanted to put the effort into learning the drums, I could teach them quick. I learned on my own, so it took a while of experimentation to understand how to play...
I had to get into the darkness, though, to truly understand the beats...

it sounds like it would be hard but once i got the hang of it I could probably do it

We have a guitar center here and they allow you to go there and test out the merchandise im so temped!

It's sort of like when Woody Allen thought he was dying (in a movie) and decided to convert to Catholicism and that meant eating white bread with mayo. Being un-white would involve eating rye bread and spicy mustard, I guess.

Maybe you need new metaphors Rman. The black-caucasian thing is not cutting it.. even if I KNOW what you mean.

sometimes pain feels good, or feels like more of something...more emotion than that vague dull place. I agree with Jakey that you have to sometimes give in to it to get through it.. listen to the music that resonates for you, sleep in, overeat, whatever.. there's not always a way around it.

p.s. i think Soon is talking about something off topic.. heheh.

I think we all have moments of darkness....however I don't really enjoy them myself.

I'd rather be annoyingly happy.

but different people are motivated by different things.

I personally think the longer you spend in the darkness the more painful the light becomes to your eyes.
