If there is no internet then I am going to assume this is the 'olden' days. In that case we would have neighbors that still cared about their neighbors, children and family that had not moved to every end of the Earth to support us. In this day and age too many people are focused on themselves and that leaves we that are searching for support to turn to strangers-sad, huh?

Y'no, this post hits me right now.

Out of every single person I know, everyone that has my phone number, I have one person that calls just to say HI. One single, solitiary person that calls just for the sake of seeing how the world is, to talk about nothing, not to ask me for money, a favour, a ride, or that they need something.

This is why online life is better than real life.
