Just saw on Yahoo that Brett Michaels had a massive brain hemmorhage and is in critical condition. I guess you never know when you will/can bite the farm.

This, just 2 weeks after emergency surgery to have his appendix removed. It almost ruptured.

If he bites the farm I'll be sad. He's very cute in a feminine way...I like my men bad with long hair. Sucks wonder if it does have to do with his diabetes or the surgery or both.

Lest we forget, he also had a head injury last year. Remember, they dropped a backdrop on his head.

Between having surgery, being diabetic, and a previous head injury (which can be a factor a year later), it's not good.

I really hope he pulls through OK. He's an icon from my younger days.

Yep, last year at the Tony Awards. He had just finished singing and they were lowering a piece of stage backdrop and lowered it right onto his head.

I'm with you llmt........I will be sad too.
Admittedly watched all 3 seasons of Rock of Love......*hangs head in shame* It's like a train wreck......and he was funny as hell on that show.

He was on Celebrity Apprentice Viv.

This was a hemorrhage, not a clot, they're kind of opposites. If they used any kind of blood thinners to prevent clots, it could have caused a bleed. Or if he had an aneurysm that was just waiting to break open, that could cause it too.

TMZ is reporting that Michaels is "awake, in good spirits and talking" as of Friday evening.

Maybe he'll magically develop better taste in women!

I saw that too Jo. They're also saying the next 48 hours will tell. Capt. Phil was up taking a walk in the hospital and talking, just hours before he died.

I'm really hoping him being awake is a sign he'll be OK.
