Is anyone going to go to the Presidential Inauguration? I wouldn't be caught dead at that place with that many people there. It is going to be nuts just trying to get into it. Historic or not, I can say that I was alive when it happened but there is no way that I will say that I was there when it happened.

Anyone going to tempt the fate and go?

It's going to be big. Some of my friends are renting rooms in their houses in Old Alexandria for $1800 a night. They are booked. I went to Bush's inauguration and it was a fantastic experience. I would recommend you to go.

heck no. I am barracading my doors and staying off the traffic hell. They already even closed the government in anticipation of the mega crowd.

I would try to go if I lived there, but I don't. My nephew does live in D.C. now, but it turns out he has to go to a wedding out-of-town. I'm wondering if he will rent his apartment.

I have a nice spot picked out from the 11th floor of the Nakatomi Building with an T-Rex .50 cal rifle and laser sighting telescope.

Bonus for anyone who knows what the Nakatomi building is.

Not sure what you are up to on that day but I would be willing to bet that if someone tried to watch the inauguration from a roof top they would have a ton of LE officers breathing down their throat in no time!
