I didn't vote for the man but I have to say that I have never seen a President coming into the White House and inspire such hope. He really seems to have some great ideas on what to do with the economy. Either way, it seems that the American Public is doing a good job getting behind him and it does seem that the Senate will also get behind him pretty good. I think that a lot of us are praying that he will be able to do as good of a job as people think that he can do. I think that he has a unique opportunity to be an amazing leader if he can pull this off.

As I said, I didn't vote for him but it is nice to see he seems to be putting politics aside and picking the best people for the job. Let's just pray that he can do something for the US.

I think that he will be awesome. He just seems to want to bring the country together. I think that's what went wrong in the Bush administration....too many people divided.

Well...Honestly I am a Republican and I can be somewhat conservative at times, but I am an American first and foremost and I think that the country needs to get behind him and support Obama. I think that if the country gets behind him and acts the way we acted the day after 9-11 then we will make it through this.

people need to quit drinking the obama kool-aid. he is just another liberal who will spend our money on crap, just like all presidents..i have never seen so many people acting like he is the messiah..i pray that he is a good president and can help this country,although i would never vote for him to be the leader of a lemonade stand..give him 8 years and it'll be the same "hope" all over again..this is just 'camelot' 40 years later

is anyone actually upset that he's president??

in just about every year past, with every past president... there was always a sizable contingent that was against whoever was the president or president to be...

however with Obama... i've noted that not a single person seems to be against him... republican or democrat...

is this guy really your savior??

Either which way Obama won it and we need to support him. I am a Republican, as I have said, and I don't agree with liberal politics but I believe that something new needs to happen and at least Obama is going to re-focus things and bring the affairs stateside to the head of the table.

It's going to get worse before it gets better...and I agree.Sounds like he has some great ideas.Non the less I wouldn't want his job.Heave,I know you were against him and am happy to see that no matter what,you are supporting him and seeing some good.
I think this country needs alot of change no matter who the president is.It can't be done like the past cuz too much has changed...the old way just wasn't working any more

It isn't that he is a savior...he is just someone that the country should be able to unite with and stand behind. He seems to have a very good nack for breaking down some of the lines of political parties.

A lot of the big republicans are calling for the Republican Party to support him and this is important. Everyone in the country needs to unite in order to defeat this bad economy.

Comment on this thought: The last two presidents that came into office either weren't covered as much before they entered office or Obama is already doing a lot of work. So far some of his ideas seem to be pretty good if you look at them.

The other part...I feel as though we are learning more about Obama now then when he was running for president. The letters that he has written to his daughters are pretty good.
