I am writing this letter to you to let you know as of today I need to let go of you....I need to move on. There has not been a day that has gone by in the past year and half that I have not wept over the lose of you and I can never image loving anyone as much as I loved you....I loved you as much as a man could possible love his wife.
But my love for you has grown unhealthy for me and can no longer sustain it. I am at my lowest point today and just like the winter solstice my days are going to become just a little bit brighter for just a little bit longer.I look forward to the day when I can look you in the eyes again and not feel this tremendous grief and lose
I loved you Liane with all my heart please understand that I need to move on and through that process I will learn to forgive you and you can have great comfort in know that you will always own the most Real Estate in my Heart and in my Mind.

I think that this shows that whatever advice, support, and "move ons", we receive from others; it's totally based on the person when we actually do let go.
It's unique to the individual. There is no time frame, or magic potion...it's just within us.

I have never been quite able to express how I can still love the man after all that happened, and that he will always have a place in my heart , that one can love and yet has to let go, in order to heal. Thank you for sharing this with us. You have touched my heart.
