Good Morning,
I am having a difficult weekend once again trying to let go of thoughts of my ex. It seems that for each step forward, I recently have been slipping back a couple. This wasn't the case until recently when some common friends started commenting on her being with her new boyfriend (my former best friend) at Thansgiving and other family functions. I think the problem for me is that this hurts extra deep because he lied to her about me in order to get in her pants. In addition, this low life did the same thing to my ex wife years ago and I didn;t know it until recently. All this time, I thought he was my friend. The anger inside of me is really hard to absorb at times. I feel so empty when I think of how good they are doing and here I sit.... with a broken heart! I have asked that these common friends just leave it alone. I told them I don't need to know what they are doing and I hope they listen.
I am just taking one day at a time and praying that I can get some comfort from my friends here. Thinking that all I gave went un-noticed tears me up inside.

What a total sleezebag this guy is!! He is despicable!!
I hope you are able to channel that anger to help you to move forward and to motivate you to move on. Please don't keep stuffing it down and leaving it to fester inside you. That can be so self destructive. Please work through it and use the energy from it to help you.
Slipping back happens to all of us, but when we do start moving forward again, it is with more strength and determination. You have come a long way, and you will keep moving forward and getting stronger with God's help. My prayers are with you.
selfserving, opppotunistic, assholey , lowlife!!!! who does that stuff, he is evil, i'm sure of it... and how does the woman not see it? It must be very dificult for you to deal with such deciet and betrayal...terrible! take care of yourself..they will get what's comming to them...I'm so sorry!
I have no much trust in people any more either. After My H's crazy behavior I have not encountered support from his family at all. They won't even listen to me. Also 2 of my friends walk lout of my life at the moment I most needed them. So right now, I am left alone, and scared of letting new people in my life, even tough I have been appraoched by new people. I know somewhat how you feel. People won't understand your pain. It feels so lonely and overwhelming. I am here if you need to talk!
