Okay...yesterday was my 9 yr anniversary. I have been dreading seeing this day come for several weeks. Funny thing, I just realized it! I was so tied up with other stuff going on that I forgot about it completely! I am so shocked and surprised at myself because I usually dwell on everything.
He filed the papers in March so still a long way to go before it's over. I am hoping this is a sign of that I am moving forward and better days are to come.

When they become less relevant, it is a very good thing.
Last year was the first year I forgot it was my divorce anniversary, and I went through the whole week of the date when my ex started cheating on me, without even thinking about it.
It's amazing how it feels like the path will take ages, but then, all of a sudden, you are plucking along, and it all becomes so unimportant.
