Two months is still very early in the healing process. Was it a mutual breakup, or a messy one? Allow yourself some time to think, reflect, mourn your loss, and feel all of those wild emotions. Do things you would normally enjoy, even if you have to kick yourself in the ass to go, and it will begin to help. The hurt won\'t go away immediately, and may linger for some time, but it will lessen as the days go by and one day you\'ll see the sunshine again. Or at least a few rays. This is coming from someone who also doesn\'t see any sunshine these days, so it is advice I\'m trying to follow myself. Hope that helps.

Where do you get your data? A loss is a minimum of one year of grief/healing. Divorce care gives an average of one year for every 4 years of marriage. Take your time.

strumphy, there is no right or wrong time frame. These things take time, lots of time, as much as you could possibly need.

Because you were together for 3 years and have only been apart for 2 months. Getting over someone you\'ve been with that long just doesn\'t happen over night.

Those statistics are just that, statistics. Everyone grieves at his/her own pace.

I\'ve been away from my ex for over a year, divorce is final and today I read the classifieds and saw he has put the parcel of land we were developing for a home place up for sale. I cried.

Keep doing positive things for yourself but remember, this just takes time.
