too bad it wasn't justice for the deaths...

Well he was found guilty 64 days ago, he just got sentenced today is all. He will be eligible for parole in 5 years. I'm betting he doesn't get it, as parole boards (unlike courts) can take anything they want into consideration....including past "events".

I listened to his statement to the judge prior to sentencing "I didn't intend to commit a crime, I didn't intend to steal from anyone"...doesn't sound very contrite if you ask me!

The bad part is, he will be a hero in prison. His fellow inmates will cater to him and put him on a pedestal...he did after all get away with murder!

I dont think so. I think he looks like prime meat. Some big tough con will be rubbing his hands in glee, he'll have earmarked OJ as his next prison biatch! And good enough for him!

He's a celebrity and a Hall of Famer. He's going to be protected by some jock-sniffing thugs.

The worst part in all this is he won't be able to hunt for the real killers anymore.

JacJac, I never once thought he would get life, nor would anyone else in his position. Actually I thought the Judge was very fair in her sentence and that's what our Judicial system is all about, fairness.
