I thought today was going to be a good day. After my dream about my ex night before last I had a good night last night. Then just a minute ago I opened my facebook and in my inbox was a message from him.

He wants to know where we stand. As if I hadn't made the clear before. And says that he is a totally different person and that prison was a positive experience for him. Really he expects me to believe him? Then he is trying to tell me how I look great and that he has lost over 100 pounds.

I don't want to deal with this, it hurts too much. Part of me wants to ignore him but the other part wants to tell him off and tell him if he keeps contacting me that I will get a restraining order. What do I do??? I just focking knew he would contact me when he got out, I knew it.

I would respond, letting him know that you had made it clear to him where you stand, and if he needs it to be repeated, well, here it is.....Then let him know that you will consider any further contact from him to be harassment. I would not ignore it...he might think you didn't get the message and continue to try to contact you.

Oh, and then block him...unless you want to be able to confirm that he got YOUR message loud and clear.

all of this talking through public domain and prison has changed him. well not to be rude or harsh facebook public comon sense you don't want to be found don't be on there

I haven't spoken to him or tried to contact him in any way since Feb. I ignored the 2 times he sent letters from jail and he still messaged me again.

He deleted his FB account so I don't have to worry about him on there anymore, but he could still e-mail me. Blocking him sounds like a good plan. I don't want to have to be worried every time I open my e-mail.

Change your email address. Just create a new one, go to the old one and send out an announcement to your friends about your new email address. Then, delete it...PRESTO! Oh and if he gets around that one, get a restraining order.

If he creates a new FB account, you can block him from seeing your profile.

I agree with Woobie--let him know under no uncertain terms that you consider his contact harrassment and you will take the necessary legal action to make it stop.

This guy is likely on probation, so he can't afford any trouble with the law.

I don't see how he could because he never got his license - always said it was because of anxiety that he didn't. He is living with his grandma 3 hours away from me.

Amazing how one message can not only mess up a whole day but make you feel so horrible. I am in a bad place tonight. Headache and feel like someone kicked me in the stomach from stress all day - I really thought I was past this.
