Long story short. Stbx asked for a divorce in March after being separated ( in a roommate situation ) for months.
While he was gone all weekend, I packed a lot of my personal stuff since I'm moving in a month. He comes in this afternoon and asked me why I had packed?!?! I asked him sarcastically, " You do realize I am moving in a month?" He has known this for months. He just shook his head and walked off.
Then later he tells me that all he asked of me several months ago was to treat him like I used to when we were first married. After years of verbal, emotional (and physical once) abuse, he takes no accountability for his part in breaking down the marriage.
Lastly, he then asked me to please give him the pictures of us and not to throw them away. I told him that I didn't want any of the pics. He then asked me if it was going to be easy for me to just erase the years with him. I said "yes" to save face. I am so angry because of his refusal to consider counseling, and I refuse to allow him to see how hurt I am.
He is now in total denial. He has rationalized everything in his head that all this is me. He seems dumbfounded that I am going through with this even though he filed the divorce papers over a week ago.
I have got to get out of this roommate situation because his actions now are so u believable. I think he is bipolar and has mental issues.

He actually blames me for our children being upset with him.
He also keeps telling me he'll always love me and have my back.
RIGHT!!!
We had years together and I'm just now realizing how many of them were lies.
