ok, some people post stories about their dating nightmares. how about a thread of almost dating or not dating horror stories.
so my ex breaks up with me Jan. of 2010 and I join plenty of fish right away (hereafter POF). So I message this gal near a town about half an hour away from me. she tells me about her horror story about her divorce and in one message she says she doesn't want to spill the beans and it's too complicated. so I message back to her and she replies back and tells me the whole story. see, it seems that her ex had been getting a lot of phone calls from this other woman and the ex said that someone they knew died at work. she didn't think nothing of it, but it turns out the ex was cheating on her with this other woman and when the other woman's husband died, her ex moved in with her a week later (did you follow that?)
after that, she didn't email me any more. I don't know whether she was ashamed for dumping on me like that or what.
A month or so ago I messaged this gal in POF also who lived in same town as me. I totally forgot about her and she mailed back that she wanted to talk on Tuesday. so when I get online with her I start chatting and she says, within a few seconds, that she has to go. I think "WTF!!!" Then the next day she messages me that she went on a date the week before and wants to see how that goes. So needless to say I was bummed and think it's so unfair that the ex finds somebody right away but not me. WTF

Is POF fairly legitamate site. Like Match? or are there a lot of posers and losers. I am nowhere near ready. still working on reconciliation if H would just try, Just wondering what these sites are like and is it hard to find dates.

POF is like Match, but ad-supported. What creeps me out is, when I was scoping these sites for my STBX's profiles, I'd find the same women on each site, but they'd appear to be totally different people. On one site, they'd say they were religious, attended services multiple times weekly, and looking for marriage, then on another, they'd have nasty pictures up and say they were looking for swingers. I never checked EHarmony because of all the hoops you have to jump through just to get in there. But the others are just too unsafe and downright creepy.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
