I was calm today until he called I still got a bit of hope only for me to hear him say his lawyer told him not to be in the house alone with me so when can he visit the dogs ... now I'm a pile of tears ... I'm checking on you to make sure your ok he says ????? Of corse I'm not ok I'm thinking ... oh God please help me ...

We pour salt in our wounds when our expectations for a phone call/meeting don't match the reality. You need to stay strong and busy. You need to get selfish. You husband is functioning on a 100% selfish mode and you need to make yourself a priority!

And it happens on both sides of the street, I made the mistake of having a day depend on her actions Bam big mistake for adult developmentally disabled son for his mood afterwards. It was only Thanksgiving so no pressure for her, so yeah don't count on ex's almost ex's or otherwise.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I know exactly how insanely tough it is to mentally reclassifiy your best friend into a nearly moral enemy. I am very much struggling with transition myself. How do you turn off absolute love and dedication? I still don't know myself. But I'm working on it
