And record everything. Every time he refused you access. Every time he " forgot". Every time you call and leave a message. The more you can do in writing ( email) the better.
Good luck, my heart is with you.
Paralyzed by fear I still function. When I wake up I start my day with positive affirmations, I watch inspiring videos, listen to motivational speakers, PRAY. I also remembered that when my father died a few years ago the way I dealt with my grief was to volunteer. I plan to go back to volunteering during this difficult time and joining a support group. One day at a time, with a positive mindset, I also allow myself to feel the sadness, the feeling of being betrayed, angry, anxious. Once I can afford it, I will also seek some therapy. I will not give up, some days will be harder that is when it is vital to have moral support from family and friends. Tonight when I heard his girlfriend in the driveway I felt numb, I felt the panic attack coming and luckily I was able to calm myself down, called a friend and the anxiety faded away. Writing this email was good for me I hope that it helps anyone reading this message. Never give up, keep going after every hardship there is ease.
I started stating 10 things I am grateful for, every day. Even something that "seems" as small as I am grateful my dog is alive and breathing today. I am grateful my dog didn't get in to the trash while I was sleeping and leave land mines all over the house cus he got sick from it. Im grateful for the strength I found to not go out and punch that dude who deserved to be punched. and so on. :)
