So I'm only a teenager, yes I know it's a common thing break ups blah blah, but this is not really about the breakup, it's about something that happened afterwards. Let me tell you everything that happened.
I had big feelings for this girl and she also had for me. When we confessed to each other we were both extremely happy. After that we went on dates and I don't remember ever having one of my depressed days during that time, my shyness went away and my confidence increased greatly. I changed because of her. Our families both liked us and everything. Everything was great until one day she told me that she wouldn't be able to handle anything further between us because of social anxiety. This is where I made the worst decisions I ever made. I told her I understood, which I really did, but then I stupidly and unknowingly said things that pressured her into trying to continue the relationship, this pushed her away from me. She told me to give her space so I did. Few days later she told me we can still be friends and that's all I really cared about, staying her friend. Everything was normal again, until school started she began ignoring my messages, eventually saying I should stop messaging as much as I used to, but that we could still be friends. But she still proceeded to ignore my messages and I started getting my outbursts of stress again and again. I was afraid to talk to her at school because I thought she wanted nothing to do with me, because she ignored my messages and letters I wrote to her in class, just simple letters saying hi or drawings of her favourite animal. She just threw them away. I felt hurt and I was afraid. She then messaged me saying that I never talk to her at school and that I only message her. I told her why and she just told me to forget about talking to her. I asked her to give me a chance and I will, but she just ignored me. She then told me how I'm a great person but ever since I pushed her away she doesn't think we could be friends any more. I told her all I care about is being her friend and just let me have a chance. She told me to chill out, but I couldn't. I suffer over stress issues and my best friend had already left my school, my insecurities increased so did my stress of losing my other best friend, so when she told me that I couldn't handle it. She then said I must leave her be. So I did. But it hurts now. I ruined my friendship with her and I can't deal with it. My confidence has dropped and having to take meds for stress and mild depression makes it worse. I don't know how to handle all this so that's why I decided to join a support forum and ask for any help or advice.

People who were alive during 9/11/2001 have a story of how the attacks on the USA impacted their lives. Feel free to share.....I graduated from law school on Sat, Sep 15, 2001 at age 24. Many families did not attend the graduation ceremony because the airplanes were grounded. I was a law clerk for a certain government agency for two years while in law school and was looking forward to a great...
