Hi everyone just wondering if anyone else has felt the same as this after their divorce. My divorce was caused by my wife being unfaithful BTW.
I had just short of a year on my own with my 2 children, after my marriage break-up, but then decided I did not want to be on my own any more so went out and met someone. The lady I met is a school teacher who has pretty much the same interests,and outlook on life as me. Her ex husbands unfaithfulness also led to her divorce so we have a lot in common.
So all should be perfect, and I'd say 95% of the time it is - my problem is that, unlike my ex wife, my new partner has a very active social life - she was a journalist before becoming a teacher so has many friends, male and female.
My problem is that whenever she goes out with any of her male friends I become terribly jealous - the silly thing is all her male friends have partners or are married. She has never given me any cause to be jealous and when she is out is always calling me so I don't know why I'm feeling like this.
Now I have never been jealous before in my life so this horrible feeling of jealousy is new to me and I'm struggling to cope with it - all this week I have felt low with a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach.
Any help / advice would be most welcome

Ask her how she got over her ex's cheating on her.
Let her know that you trust her, but feel scared inside anyway.
Talk more.
I would feel like that, I think its natural considering what you have already been through.
Personally if I am dating someone, let alone being married to them, I would not accept my partner going out with another male without me, its not appropriate. If they need to socialise it can be with me or at my house while I am around.
Just my view.
