My exs grandma died i didnt attend but i sent flowers. Im upset that he couldnt even text me to say thank u for them :(

Im not saying this to make your feelings minimal because it is nice when your thoughtfulness is acknowledged but he may not even be aware you sent them as some people do not pay attention to those details. it was very considerate of you:-)

Hi Imecklen: When he has contacted you, even to tell you of his Grandmother's passing, he used the opportunity to hurt you. That's why when he contacted you about his Grandmother's passing, everyone told you put him on NO CONTACT so he can't reach you and will stop hurting you.

If he were to contact you now about the flowers you sent, his usual in the past is to hurt you, and that would probably happen again. Please know that letting him contact you is just letting him repeatedly hurt you and that's not a good way to get over him. Hugs.

when my ex's uncle passed, I sent my regards to her family, not her, but her family. What I got back was a chastising from her for being able to speak to her family and send my regards, but I couldn't speak to her (I initiated no contact with her).

To me it didn't matter cus it wasn't about her. Don't let your good deeds be about him and you surely shouldn't expect anything from him.

You did a good thing, what you wanted to because of the situation. I would feel good about that regardless if he contacts you or not.
