I am a young adult facing a difficult breakup. Just over two years I spent with this guy, most of my high school life and start of college.
I don't even know were to start...
He and I started dating and his parents shun him for that, he was somewhat happy for once in his life. As teens with wacked out hormones, we started to fool around earlier on, didn't think anything of it. Got in trouble with our parents over it few times. More and more he'd want it and I'd pull away and unable to do as he wanted. Me and him would fight over that several times, he always come up with ways to have our fun time without our parents knowing... Him being that desperate was bugging me, I'd express my feelings but it only made things worse.
After a whole of being fed up with his parents he got kicked out/ran away to live with his brother who ran from home a Lil while before. That didn't work out then moved in with an elderly couple he worked for, that didn't work out and moved in with another person he worked for. After my parents offered for him to move in with us, he was here for almost a year.
Every time I turned around we'd fight over little things.
He want time with me and I couldn't give that, moving in with me I had no space to myself.
We accumulated 800 dallars worth of bills...living with my parents, only source of income was from our school funds and his minimal work study funds, and refused to listen about my ideas on cutting the bills down. He hated the job he had and gave up on it. Every time he had cash, it be blown so quickly then beg me for money or expected me to pay for everything... He had more funds then me and its gone way before mine, by end of the term I'll be running on fumes, couldn't even afford gas...
He kept pushing for me to move with him to a broken down motor home with the women he works for that I couldn't stand. The trailer was so beat up and nasty... The women was an utter witch... He wouldn't accept my nos, wouldn't respect my feelings, yet I stuck by his side as he walked over me.
Just over a month ago I decided to break up with him. Since the break up, he was acting like an immature brat who thinks he owns me. He has been doing everything from sweet talking me, blaming me for his behaviors, putting a rose on my mothers car, making me jealous of his new love life, to stalking me over all of my media sites. He says I never loved him, that I was a cheater, I was a witch to walk away.
I put my whole heart into what we had and yet wasn't enough... He wanted more than I could give...
With him all over me after the breakup it has only made the healing worse... Its over a month out and I'm still hurt... He's already found someone new and is planing on marring her right off the bat. I'm told to think of it ad he won't have happiness because of repeating his behavior he had with me and ruining another relationship time and time again.
Sorry for the long post, just had to vent this out and seek advise from others who had similar situations.

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

I realize the break-up may have been tough but, it sounds as though your life will be so much better and more healthier in many ways than it would had you stayed with him.
Hang in there, things will get better for you.
