Am 31 years old and have been with my significant other since I was 19, we've been together for 12 years married for 8 years and my husband told him he no longer loves me. For the last 2 months his been asking for another child but I've been resistant because in 2012 when I gave birth to my daughter he cheated on me. Am so confused because I don't know where this came from. Am hurt, mad, embarassed (for when ppl find out) and just tired of crying. I need answers and he wont give them to me.

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

Yeah, just a bit weird. The new baby saved our marriage said nobody EVER.
I will be praying for you. I pray that your daughter will be okay if/when she hears the news of her dad leaving. I pray that you will have the strength you need to continue the day to day as you and your husband figure things out. I pray that you will be able to have good conversations with him in order that you both will be able to share where your hearts are at and be able to understand each other.
I encourage you to try to go on a date with your husband. Remind each other why you fell in love with each other. The day to day can be difficult. I would also encourage you to find either a marriage counselor or a mentors that you can talk to and walk through this trying time with. It's challenging to walk it through alone, especially when you have a daughter.
