So it's been over 2 years since my divorce, my ex has moved on remarried doesn't have anything to do with our kids, and I pretend that lifes fine but I just hate it. I have alot of hatred for him and the life he left me with. I know I deserved better than how he was and definitely deserved someone faithful but he seems happy with his new family and life and I try and put on a brave face. I have the kids but I never imagined being single raising the kids by myself and it affects my self esteem and I feel stressed constantly. I hear it takes time and I make my life how I want it. It's just hard I didnt see anything wrong with our relationship but he said he wasnt in love and truth be told I always let him have everything his way , he was selfish. I just wished it didnt occupy my life the thoughts, the hate, the what its, the whys. We was together 20 years and if he does talk it's all name calling or emojis. That also infuriates me how someone can be like that. I know he doesn't love me but I didn't do anything for his hatred towards me, I only contact him asking bout insurance or support. And am I crazy in wondering is he really happy? Ugh !!

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
It's really hard...I know...been in a similar situation no kids though. It's the betrayal, then the abandonment...but it's also the anger from putting up with so much crap...and still being left.
I have fueled myself with anger to move on. Then I have also regressed and wallowed in misery.
I even tried forgiveness...and then took it back and got angry again. LOL.
I often wanted to hear that he was miserable and unhappy as well. If I knew that or convinced myself that...it would somehow make me happy and would be a sure sign karma was kicking his ass.
But all I ended up doing was obsessing over his misery...and just became miserable myself.
I think you need to do some inner work and self care. Put yourself first for once and start asking yourself...what do I want? what do I need?
When you become busy...filling yourself up again ...you will find that you will be less interested in his misery.
Sending you light and love
It appears your ex has moved on, remarried as you stated. What good does it do for you to wonder if they are happy? Are you jealous that they could be happy after everything fell apart? Are you wondering if they are happy because you are you? Are you wondering are they happy because you want them to be unhappy by way of feeling how you feel? There are a thousand possible questions.
Your focus should be on you. This is not a selfish thing, but a necessity.
Putting on a brave face is good, but your kids are bright and sharp enough to see this is a lie. I would suggest some counseling for you. Talk to someone, scream at the moon and purge this anger. Otherwise, this will be all that is left of you and you run a risk of passing it to your kids.
I am sorry this is where you are. I am sorry your heart has been broken and you still hurt. You can survive this, you can find happy again. Be safe.
Stay strong, it will get better.
