Hello and thanks to all who helped me through.
As some of you know, my 16 year marriage was going down the tubes. My wife then wanted to be friends with benefits (which I refused)
Well we went to go get the room I would be renting for a while and on the way there she began crying. She stayed in the car while I went to pay my deposit, until the end of the visit. We then took the kids out to eat and came home. I guess reality must have set in or something because she asked me to stay and to stop the divorce.
This gave me the opportunity to then set a whole new set of ground rules to which she agreed and I made it known that one more instance of asking me to leave or filing for divorce, that I'm out of here. (THE last chance)
She had no problem agreeing to my terms and we go to stop the divorce tomorrow and file Motion to dismiss..
Found out where she is so impressionable and in a low spot (depression) her therapist got only half her story and recommended divorce to her and her mother (who's never liked me) had been pushing her toward that direction at the same time talking to her every spare moment and not leaving a chance for us to work things out. She was afraid her family would disown her if she didn't follow through.
She has finally realized that her family doesn't live here and that it's not THEIR lives they were destroying,, it was hers, mine and my 2 sons.

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...
Getting down to the court date and seeing me reserve my apartment etc. made her realize this is really happening and made her realize for herself the consequences of her actions for herself and my sons.
kids, you guys have kids, it is not about "staying together" for the kids
it is about doing the marriage right for the kids, and each other
Yes My Ex is a top therapist and had no problem abusing me and was incapable of working out her problems in the last year of a a 19 year marriage to me
