My ex wife tells people that we are still friends. How can you be friends after all that she has put me through? I have coined the term friendly but not friends to describe it.
Being friends with her would like be like being friends with the devil. She has cut me deep enough that even though the wound has healed there is a deep scar there that will always bother me. This has to be one of the deepest wounds that I have ever gotten too. Just he hear her voice or to read an email from her still brings me some level of discomfort, and maybe deep within the recesses of my soul, some pain.
The truth is that friends don't treat friends like this. Friends don't hang another friend out to dry and not give a logical explination other than we are just different people or I no longer feel that way about you. Those reasons are not the root cause, they are only symptoms.
So, my friends, let me be the first to tell you that the day that I consider my ex a friend is the day that I will consider the devil a close friend and on that day hell will freeze over. Bitter?, maybe a little but it is my progative to be this way after I have endured what I have endured.

At one point in your life, you loved this woman enough to want to spend the rest of your life with her. To suggest that being friends with her now would be like being friends with the devil belittles you, not her, in my mind.
I would never choose to have a friend like that. At this time this idiot is still telling me he is "alone and confused." Why would he be alone and confused when he had all these women giving it to him whenever he wanted it. He ran to them all the time, they were his friends, not me. I was the one he abused and stole from.
So, NO THANK YOU to him being my friend. I would rather shoot myself twice in the head then to be his friend (just a figure of speech, you can't shoot two bullets after the first shot. So please do not think that is what I am doing)
