my cousin

tonight was my daughters 11 birthday because it was my ex time with her I was not allowed to go. My cousin who told me she was not talking to my ex went to dinner with them, really upset me that she was there but more upset because she has been lying to me. I have been doing really good for the most part until this came up. any comments would be welcome.

Yep, that would upset me too and the cousin should have known better. I mean, you did tell her how you felt right? Told her not to go right?

I wouldn't give it a second thought. Just keep moving forward and don't confide in this cousin any.
If you dwell on this, it can put you backwards. You have come a long way so let it go. It isn't worth your energy. Right?

Oh and my ex got invited (or told about with the understanding that he was welcome) to my kids birthday parties, but he didn't want to come. See for years my son's language delay made it Work to help with such things....and he just wasn't interested.

And now well, the kids could care less....
