Rain on the roof of the boat sounds so good. It relaxes me and helps me sleep.

Despite the rain, the cold weather, and the wind howling through my rigging and shaking my mast (yes me timbers are being shivered) it is nice on board.

Where is your place in the world where everything is right and better?

Used to be tooling down the road with my top down in my 93 Cutlass convertible, but I had to sell it after she left me.

So I guess now, it's the beach in FL when I go visit my relatives there.

Oh, that sounds heavenly. I love being out on the water and to be sleeping on the water too...I can see your little bit of heaven. Mine would be sleeping in my camper out in the woods or by the lake. What a nice thought...sigh

My happy place is under a tree next to a creek, spring, or lake with the breeze rustling the leaves and sweeping across my skin. A hammock would be a bonus.

right here in my apt. 3rd floor, so i hear the rain a little louder and it's very comforting to me. working the night shift, during the day when it's like this, i love it. nothing better than a rain or snow storm when you stay warm and toasty and just watch. xoxoxo

My favorite place was always in the motorhome on the beach (or at the campground) but that's not gonna happen anymore. :-(
Now , , , I have no idea where my special place is. I guess I gotta get me a new one! Can I share with someone for the time being?
