Some of you know me and my situation. For those of you who don't, I am in a terrible marriage that isn't always terrible. It's not ALL bad. There are days and moments which I wouldn't trade for all of the money in the world. He can be so loving, but he can also be pure evil. He is addicted to porn, and refuses to admit it. He blames me for it, says if I would have kept the house clean, he wouldn't look at porn. To me, that's like saying,"If my shirt fit better, there wouldn't be a war in Iraq." They have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other.
He hits me when I find the porn, and blames me for the abuse. He beats me into a bloody and bruised mess in front of our 4-year-old autistic son. He tells our son, "Jonathan, say mommy's a whore" and just the other day, he told our son, "Mommy's being a jackass..."
I want to move on, but something's holding me back. Why is it so hard to walk away from a man who is this abusive? He has beaten me so badly, and more than once I thought he was going to kill me.
So, how do I move on? Why does it hurt so bad to leave?

It is going to hurt. I am been in abusive relationship before and the best thing I ever did was leave. It took me along time (10 years) to realize that I am strong and deserve better from me and my boys. Hug your son, pack your things and leave. I know it hurts but that is the best thing you can do for yourself and your son. My worst thought was what if he turned on my boys. That is something I never wanted to happen. What matters now is you protect yourself and son. You don't deserve this!!! You are a wonderful and loving person!! We are all here for you to help you through it. It takes time....

OMG, Im so sorry that you are in this situation!! Im surprised that you are still thinking of the good moments!! They sure dont make up for a single moment of that abuse!! Well, I think you should leave, this is dangerous for you and for your son! Start planning something, and ask for help from family. It wont be easy but I think it is necessary. I left my husband after he hit me (actually beat me) I have been seeing a psychologist to help me deal with him and for over a year the psychologist told me to leave and I did not want to, he told me that my husband will one day beat me and I did not believe it will happen, and when it happened and I told the psychologist he told me leave because one day he can kill you, even if it is accidentally, and now I wont take a chance with that!! You should not take a chance too!! You need some money and a job to support your self and your son, and to be able to pay for a place to live and for an attorney, so start applying for a job, try to arrange to stay with family or friends until you can stand on your own two feet. Dont let you circumstances make you one of those women who stay in an abusive relationship because they cant afford to get out of it. You deserve better than that. I will be praying for you.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
